TECC KOMUNIKASI & PENYIARAN ISLAM: AKTIVITI 1

Aktiviti ini telah diadakan bertempat bagi kelas Komunikasi & Penyiaran Islam bertempat di TECC JMSK PSAS di mana pelajar membuat carian menggunakan internet dan perbincangan dalam kumpulan masing-masing.

Dengan tersedianya beberapa buah komputer untuk kegunaan pelajar, aktiviti ini berjalan dengan lebih cekap dan pantas apabila setiap kumpulan dapat menggunakan komputer masing-masing di samping komputer riba mereka sendiri.

Hasil pembelajaran dibentangkan oleh wakil setiap kumpulan menggunakan Microsoft Power Point di samping bahan-bahan sokongan seperti gambar, pautan ke internet, dan klip video pendek. Dengan adanya 3 skrin paparan iaitu dua sisi dan satu di hadapan, pembentangan pelajar adalah lebih menarik untuk disaksikan oleh pelajar-pelajar lain.

MOOC WORKSHOP

MEETING SEMESTER 3 STUDENTS CLASS OF JUNE 2018

It's been a few semesters that we have had MOOC courses specifically for semester 3 students. In particular, all polytechnics have 2 courses built on the platform of MOOC Open Learning. The most recent is English For TVET: Processes and Procedures.

Since its contents are new to the students, the performance of the pioneers last semester was not satisfactory. So, this is one of our efforts to help our students to perform better this semester. They were given a detailed input of the course contents, essential language input, and some quizzes..of course KAHOOT! As usual, they loved it!

There were 4 lecturers giving inputs and carrying out activities including myself, while all the other lecturers were very supportive and committed with the roles they were in charged of. While the students were cooperative and focused. Everyone was just lovely!

TECC English 1: First Activity

MAKING A DIFFICULT DECISION?

This activity was done in TECC classroom which involved DRM1A students for the session of JUNE 2018. This room is supposed to be a high-tech classroom that supports educational technology. It is expected to be equipped with high end computers and accessories to aid teaching and learning processes. Unfortunately, this is not the case due to equipment breakdown and insufficient allocations to cater to the needs of the classroom. Thus, we just get by with what we have at the moment. Hopefully, the least we can offer here will benefit our students.

So, here is one moment of the activities that I managed to capture. This ice-breaking activity was carried out using Padlet. It was put up on PSAS CIDOS platform. I believe they really appreciated this activity since they were still not confident to speak orally with one another. They barely knew each other at that time, of course..

My students seemed to be interested..they giggled and whispered to each other as one response after another appeared on the screen. Everyone made a choice pertaining to the situation posted on the screen earlier.

Well..not bad guys 😁
